Education
The Italian Association of Dietitians (ANDID) represents dietitians in Italy towards the Italian Minister of Health and all the Law and Policy institutions. ANDID collaborates with a lot of scientific national and international societies and associations dealing with food, nutrition and dietetic. Since 1990 ANDID edits its professional journal ”ANDIDNotizie” and recently get off to an editorial project, “the ANDID series”, books on topics of particular professional interest. To promote the professional profile of Dietitians, ANDID elaborated since 2004 Professional Position Papers on the topics where a fundamental, non replaceable, role for the dietitian has been documented by the best available scientific evidence, with reference to high quality studies performed by dietitians or by working-groups involving dietitians. ANDID is member of EFAD (European Federation of the Association of Dietitians) and ICDA (International Confederation of Dietetic Associations)
